We all need time out to be creative! Immerse yourself in the feeling of clay and come and try your hand at pottery making at this fun and supportive pottery studio

Adult Pottery Workshops / Clay Experiences – Pottery Workshops will be available from the 26th June!

From complete beginners to intermediate levels, whatever your ability, pottery workshops are available here at my studio.

Whether you are looking for a short pottery course or one session experience, you have the opportunity to explore the joys of making with clay. 

You will be guided through the various making processes, introducing you to hand-building methods and decorative techniques.

For those of you interested in giving throwing on the pottery wheel a try, come and learn how to throw a pot or two.

I offer both one-time clay experiences for individuals and small groups.

‘Through Children’s Eyes’ – Pottery Workshops will be available from the 26th June!

I have spent many years working with children and watching them develop their creative skills. 

The workshops and sessions I offer are designed to inspire children to explore the making process in clay.

The experience of working in a material that you can shape and mold into 3 dimensions is exciting and challenging. 

Here at the studio, children have the opportunity to create pottery using a variety of techniques; such as hand building and coiling, combined with decorative application. 

‘Throwing a pot or two’ on the pottery wheel is also available.

Sessions are available during holiday periods, as well as some weekends. Individual 1 to 1 sessions are available, as well as small family / friendship groups

Children’s Pottery Workshops

‘Have a Go on the Pottery Wheel’

– Ideal for children 5 years plus!

This is a 1.5 hour session of pottery making, using the pottery wheel. Adults stay throughout the session.

The cost is £25.00 per child (£45.00 for 2 children ) Only 1 family / friendship group per session.

There are 3 time slots per day to choose from. AM: 10.00 – 11.30 / PM: 12.00 – 1.30. / 2.00 – 3.30

‘Short Pottery Courses for Children – 4 sessions’

– Ideal for children 5 years plus!

This short course is spread over 4 weeks and the sessions are 2 hours per session, (8 hours in total). You will be using the pottery wheel, learning hand-building techniques with clay, hand decorating the pieces you have made in previous sessions with ceramic colours. Adults stay throughout the session.

The cost is £120.00 per child (£200.00 for 2 children) Only 1 family / friendship group per session.

There are 2 time slots to choose from per day. AM: 10.30 – 12.30 / PM: 1.30 – 3.30

Adult Pottery Workshops

‘Have a Go on the Pottery Wheel’

– Adult Workshop Sessions.

Ideal for adults wanting to immerse themselves in creative process of throwing a pot! This is a 2 hour session of pottery making, using the pottery wheel.

The cost is £50.00 per adult (£90.00 for 2 adults).

There are 2 sessions per day. AM: 10.30 – 12.30 / PM: 1.30 – 3.30

Short Pottery Courses

– Adult Workshop Sessions

This 2 day workshop is ideal for adults wanting to immerse themselves in the creative process and experiencing both throwing on the pottery wheel and hand-building a piece of pottery. You will also decorate your clay work with underglaze colours and oxides. This is a 5 hour session, spread over 2 days. This is a great activity to do with a friend!

The cost is £100.00 per adult (£175.00 for 2 adults if coming together). These sessions cater for 1 to 1 working or friendship groups (currently no more than 2 / 3 adults attending a session at one time).

There are 2 time slots to choose from per day. AM: 10.30 – 1.00 / PM: 2.00 – 4.30.
