These pottery lamps first came to life in 2006, when I visited Barcelona and started jotting down some ideas having been inspired by that wonderful city. I came back and made my first, ‘Mad Hatters Tea Party’ standard lamp, which I exhibited the following year at Chelsea Flower Show.
It was great to see people’s reaction to the lamp, which led to many orders, far and wide across the globe.
Designing a lamp for someone is always a pleasure and people often ask me to include their favourite things…i.e. flowers, animals, family members etc.
